Writing Workshop?

If anyone knows of a local writing workshop, please let me know. Rosewood Art Center has one, but a beginner can’t jump in until next fall. Thanks!

  1. You’re doing the right thing to get your book started, you’re writing.

The next thing is to get a little notebook that fits in pocket or purse and jot down ideas whenever you have them. Ideas really can get lost if not captured.

The next thing is to sit down, write a list of all the words or phrases that you think need to be in the book. Give yourself half an hour. At the end of that time, start looking at the list to see which words or phrases go together. Within 20 minutes you will have an outline.

Start writing to the outline, one section at a time. A book will take a year, but this is how you get started.
